We had another good turn out of 22 people tonight in the Jones Joker tourney.   Tonight though I want to put a a special call out for everyone's thoughts and prayers for Agro.   His son was seriously injured in a car accident last week and is in serious condition with a brain injury.  We're thinking of ya buddy and hope he recovers soon.

 

On to the poker action.  Your tourney director had no luck again.  I don't think I've had a bounty since I won this thing in Joker room #9.  Card dead most of the way and so was Mellow_Yellow.  Best he could do was a split after he was fed up and pushed all in with 65. AnEnigma made the courtesy call for QQ.  The board went 65342. Now that's luck.  Lot's of good action going on at the final table.  After winning last week IdBlondee was looking good again.  New comer ronecha had the chip lead for a bit.   Once it got down to four players the chips were pretty even around 8000 chips.  Those four were:

AnEnigma moved up to 10k in chips and then 13k after making a nice call with top pair.  Blondee knocks down winforlife a bit more when she just called his big blind pre flop and hit the K.   Win doubled up tho in hand 58 catching a 5 with A5 when anenigma called with A9.   Win doubles up again in hand 61 when he hits a straight on the river with Q10 suited besting AnEnigma's small pair of 55.  That put Win back in second place after being on life support.  I guess that's a knock against euthanasia-lol.  There was some nice 3 way action in hand 70.  Blondee makes a nice raise post flop and Win doubles it.  AnEnigma makes the call putting the pressure back on Blondee.   Blondee pushes all in but is not happy when win calls and she finds out Win hit the straight on the flop.  Her top pair didn't look so good after that.  Blondee bubbles winning last week.  Great job girl friend!!   Hand 77 AnEnigma wins a huge pot win his all in AQ beats Win's all in AJ.  Fortunately for Win that didn't knock him out because he had (had) the chips.  Hand 78 ronecha doubles up with 99 against anenigmas KQ.  I thought for a minute Anenigma hit the straight, but alas for him, there was no 9 in his hand.

 

I had to step out so i missed the final 3 action, but winforlife came in third.  Then ronecha knocks out AnEnigma when after the flop AnEnigma makes a nice bet with middle pair but ronecha has top pair and pushes all in.  AnEnigma is pot commited and makes the call and 1st time ronecha takes it down!!

 

 

At the final table, OBS chat was not turned on again by UB.  Its frustrating but what can you do?

Well folks-- I learned a lesson tonight-- save drafts of your work!!!  I had my whole write up done and for some reason after I sent an email, my Internet Explorer crashed and I lost it all.  Dadgummit!!!!  It was a work of genius of course.  So sorry about that.  Now that it's late I'll just mention a couple of quick things.  #1- Jayzion needs a special mention.  He wanted to make the newsletter and he did!!  He played a great game, had the chip lead at the final table for quite a while and really played for the win.  Well done, even though you didn't cash.  #2- Blondee and annieboom are babes!!  :).  Blondee played a great game tonight.  That's four wins in a row by the ladies (Jennifear with the last three in a row before tonight).  We missed Jennifear and will look for her to win again the next time she can play.  :)

Well the best news about tonight's tournament was that everyone made the final table!!!!   We had a small crowd of ten.  When I sat down, HurqueRock was out and Mellow_Yellow had to bench himself due to sickness.   AnEnigma went next.  Everyone pretty much went as usual.  Jenn of course took the lead and started punishing everyone with her loose aggressive style that she plays in these tourneys.   It's always a learning good learning experience watching her work.    JakeyLove went out next when his 66 was dominated by Jenn's 99, especially after the flop of 9AA.    ILuvHotmoms playing under a different name played a very nice game.  In the end though it's Jennifear's Joker Room and we're all just donating to her in it.   Jennifear was only upset about one thing tonight and that was the small turnout and the small 1st place prize she had to accept.  Oh well Jenn- there's always next week!!!
