Well I'm going to keep this one short tonight, I just don't feel liking tracking the hands and writing!  LOL.  We had 12 peeps, another small crowd.   Tell your friends your family and let's some players here!  Actually a small crowd is kind of fun, nice to chat with everyone.  However, it doesn't take much time to get to the final table and by then UB doesn't get the OBS chat set up in time.  They've got to get that done automatically somehow!   We're missing annieboom tonight.  Of course the chat is much less and not as much fun as when she's here!  Hopefully she's back soon, we miss you boom!   With only 12 peeps, it's a little easier to make the final table, but two still don't and I always hate to see them go out so I'll give them a shout out tonight.  They were Hazy_Cat and Deadmanshand_!   Some big action.  I just knocked out Pa with AQ to his AK by hitting trip Q's.  Then -ManBearPig- takes a big pot off of bugman22j and they both had QQ. Bug layed it down after mbp went all in after the flop.  It was for a lot of chips, so probably a semi easy decision for bug to lay it down.  There's always the next hand if you're still in.   Well I knocked out papoorboy in 6th place and then mellow_yellow in 5th.  Then Tommy1053 knocked me out just out of th money again when he slowplayed his trip 8s which turned into a full house.  Bugman just got knocked out in 3rd with 88 vs mbp's QQ.   We've got a great battle for first going on now.  -manbearpig- had a big lead on tommy1053, lost it, got back to even and now tommy is ahead 10k to 6k.  MBP gets the lead back and then takes the win!  After an AK4 flop, both guys got their money in.  But alas for tommy1053 who had the king, mbp shows the A and it holds up.  Congrats to -manbearpig- for winning tonights Joker room!!!

Well the good news tonight was we all made the final table! :)  A small crowd of 10 sat down to duke it out.  Lot of fireworks goin on and fortunately I was lighting them early.  I kept getting the best of Lil Mem early and then also knocked out Dudley_ with AK to his A5.  -ManBearPig- was having some good cards too and then knocked out Lil Mem with AK vs Lil Mem's A4.  Tough night for LilMem.  Just couldn't get the cards. But hey- the beauty of poker- there's always next week!!  Poor annieboom signed up again and was a no show.  Well we've lost another to a connection.  Poor RipleyBP was on dial up and he's gone for now.   ManBear just took out last weeks winner DonVitoGuy with AA to AJ.  Ah- Ripley is back- at least for now.  Nice job for mellow. Wow- he was down to 390 chips and has doubled up twice to 1940.  He's back in the ball game!  Boom - dang- SpideyTwo just took out bugman22j with A2 vs 1010.   He hit 2 on the flop and an A on the turn.  Sometimes poker can be a rough game.  Ripley is now gone.  Just when you think JJ is good, someone else has QQ.  GG Rip.   Boom is out in 5th.  It's money time.

Yes it's true.   I'm out.  I moved with 55 and ManBearPig had 99.  Doh- i'm gone.   Mellow moves QQ- surely he's got it. Spideytwo moves in with K9 and ManBearPig calls with QdJd.   Mellow doesn't got.  S2 hits the straight!  Gotta love poker!  GG mellow.  MBP got 10k and S2 has 2k.  It's lookin MBP, but you never know.  OOOh S2 picks up a couple hands and then doubles up and boom!  S2 just wins it!  He gets a QQ and moves in and MBP calls with an A!

We had a good 1st tournament of 2008.  14 people were back in action in the Jokerroom.   I got off to a good start at the expense of IcyRavenHawk.  So did Kryptic and Icy was first to go.   Smartin was down to her last to her last 65 chips early, but then tripled up and is starting to make a comeback.  O man- Smartin moved all in with 255 chips and Hazy called.  Smartin showed JJ and Hazy QJ.  Of course we know what happens next--  Q on the flop.  UB can be so cruel...  Spideytwo and Kryptic went out next and we had our final table.  Poor annieboom didn't get much rest throughout the day and was a no show.   I had the chip lead going into the final table, but it didn't last long.  Sometimes getting cards early can be a curse.  As my stack was whittling down, I looked up and saw KK.  But alas, bugman22j had AA and I was history.   A few hands later RipleyBP moved all in when a Q and rags hit the flop.  Kingflop called and showed AQ.  Ripley had Q10 and was shortly elimimated.  That left our top 4:

Blinds are at 150-300 and we're at our 118th hand of the final table.  Mellow_Yellow moves all in, but no callers.  bugman just won a nice hand and is now at 5300 in chips.  It's a tight race for the money.  Mellow is the low stack now and hangin in there.  Mellow makes another move with 1600 in chips, but Kingflop just can't make the call from the big blind.  Ooo- Mellow doubles up in hnad   .  He moves in for 2005 and DonVito call.  Mellow's AT holds up to Don's K7d suited.  Mellow is now a playa.  Pretty standard play going on now-- we're up to hand 160.  Dang we're almost all even here.  Well, after a break blinds are 200-400.  Mellow's the low man again.  Hey- all guys this time!  Actually I think Blondee might have been the only female tonight!    Well- Mellow makes a move and Don calls.  Mellow shows KK!  Don shows QJ.  It's UB time.  The flop is Q5Q and Mellow is on life support.  Mellow is gone and we got our money.  Don just took out KingFlop with a higher straight- ouch. Don had 58 and King had 57.  King has the nuts after the flop but just can't hold on.  We are down to two.  Hand 204 bugman doubles up, then doubles up again with A5.   We have a game folks!   Don has 11k to bugs 8k.  Hand 223 was the big blow to bugman.  Bugman calls the BB, Don raises and then Bug comes over the top all in!  A6 for Bug vs A9 for Don and Don takes the huge pot and wins the Jokerroom tourney!  I believe that's his first time to play the Jokerroom as well.  Nice going.
